Cairns Post: THE newly married Duke and Duchess of Cambridge plan to visit Australia later this year.
The royal newlyweds are looking to fit in a short trip around their journey to New Zealand for the Rugby World Cup, to be held from September 9 to October 23.
London's Daily Express says details of the journey have not been finalised.
Buckingham Palace and St James's Palace have discussed sending the pair to Perth in Western Australia to coincide with the Queen's visit for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM), scheduled for October 28-30.
